THEATER/COMEDY: Bay Area writer/performers/females/San Francisco's "own Amy Sedarises" Beth Lisick and Tara Jepsen debut their fresh new two-woman show, Getting in on the Ground Floor and Staying There. What's it about? Them. And it's a retrospective of sorts, exploring "ten years of comedic collaboration and continually making public what possibly should have remained private." It starts tonight and continues July 25, 26, 31 and Aug. 1, 2.

8 p.m. // Center for Sex and Culture (1519 Mission) // $12-$15

DANCE: Those twinkle toes over at ODC present "Local Heroes Dance Festival." While you probably won't see the glory that is "Turkey Lurkey Time," you will get to witness some choice contemporary dance. Starts tonight, runs through Saturday.

8 p.m. // Project Artaud Theater (450 Florida) // $20-$25

MUSIC: Hoodies and Converse sneakers abound at tonight's Edgetone New Music Summit. Let la Chun tell you all about it. Runs through Saturday.
