Let's Go Dancing, Briefly

Can you believe Flashdance is turning 15? Not in years, but in incarnations. The fifteenth in the irregular series of dancing flash mobs happens tonight at 7:30. Where, you ask? In the seat of power! Or at least, right outside the seat's window, on Van Ness by City Hall.

The rules are few: primarily, they are to come and dance. Text FLASHDANCE to 41411 for SMS updates. Don't carry visible alcohol -- and don't act like a stupid drunk, lest you give away the game. Also, take pictures and tag them with SFist so we'll be sure to see them.

Have fun, kids!

ughhhh it was such a joke. there were like 6 people there, and 30 minutes later they finally had like 20 people. and the cops came and broke it up periodically. laaaaaaaaaame.

@ rhino:

I rode by around 9.30-10ish and there was at least a good 100+ plus people and a big tour bus...

maybe it was something different, but it was a bunch of people randomly dancing...

Balm and I were there! The people looked funny, but we had fun!

Hey Jacobe, that tour bus was for something else. They're were all going INSIDE city hall while the lame 6 - 10 people 'danced' by the Opera House with the cops shutting them down continually.

NOT worth it.
