Five Folks Gunned Down In Potrero Hill
Holy second-hand smokes! An astounding five people were shot in San Francisco's Potrero Hill neighborhood last night. According to the Merc (via Bay City News), the fuzz found five people suffering from gunshot wounds over on the 800 block of Missouri Street, right next to the Potrero Hill Recreation Center. This happened at around 10:30 p.m.last night. Apparently, someone came up to the group and started shooting. Jesus. Anyway, all of the victims are expected to live. And it goes without saying, but no arrests have been made.

Yikes five folks gunned down! Oh. Not killed. Shot at. Kinda changes the reality a bit. Being from DC when it was crimewaving I assure you there is a difference between trips to the hospital and trips to the morgue.
Not that it makes a huge difference, but the 800 block of Missouri is not where the Potrero Rec Center is. This is in the middle of the projects. The Rec Center is actually on Arkansas and up a very steep hill from Missouri.

Actually, kind of interesting but if you look at Google Street View - they go on every other street in Potrero except Missouri in the middle of the projects there.
A reminder why folks told me to not walk past 20th street when I lived at Mariposa and Missouri. Shootings are becoming a little too common on goat hill.
