Oak Groves Are the Least of Their Problems

Although we guffaw over Berkeley news items sometimes (we know: pot calling kettle black blah blah blah), a recent turn of events makes us wish for more news of oak grove protesters, not ultra. serious. news.

Seems that some guy (or different dudes?) have performed a couple of home invasions, resulting in burglary and sexual assault. With the weather being hot and bother-y, residents are advised not to leave windows open and to keep doors closed and secure.

Although the suspect description is not completely similar -- male, late teens to early 20s, appx. 5'6", with thin build, vs. male, 20s, appx. 6'2", with tall, muscular build, dark complexion -- if you happen to know anything, call the Berkeley P.D. Also: Bay Area Crime Stoppers is offering $2,000 buckaroos for info leading to arrests.
