Back In Black

(By Eyleen Tavy)
SFist urges:Hasten to the 7-11 store locator page and find the store nearest you. Got it? Now you know where you'll be going to get a free fuckin' Slurpee tomorrow. As Eater SF cleverly points out, there's a curious synergy with the name of the venue and tomorrow's date. But that's not the only auspicious element --they're also celebrating the advent of the Monster Black Ice Slurpee. Which, just, wow. This is EXACTLY the sort of thing we'd only drink if it were free, so if you're looking for us tomorrow, we'll be the one with the black tongue.

Monster Black Ice Slurpee sounds perfect.
7-11 *killed* the 7-11 Club.
Fuck them.
i used to feel the same way, HQL. but have you tried 711's rolled up chicken and jack cheese thingies? that turn around and around on that heating device? they've killed whatever pain i had for 7 11 Club's removal.
I can't believe the "store locator" forgot to put the 46th avenue and Judah location.
i get my tums here before heading over the to TOTALLY AWESOME place that serves, like, crab gratin. i can't remember its name. moving on...
hate to ruin the party...but the actual size of these free slurpees are about 8oz and not worth spending 30 minutes in line to get. after the 30 minutes of waiting, you have a 50/50 chance that 1) the machine is working still and 2) there is anything left in the machine.
i have lived through my fair-share of free slurpee days. trust me. but hey, free is free.
Like butah.
the cup size is, well, appropriately 7.11 oz
I worked overnights in Cupertino (hollah 7-11 near the indian food place!) and the guy had a overload of extra cups for the freebie. still, 7.11 oz not too shabby. y'all don't need the extra sugar/calories!
Tomorrow is also: Dress like a Cow, get Free Chick-fil-A!!

Holy Cow — It’s time to break out your cow suit and leave your wallet out to pasture. On Friday, July 11, the Chick-fil-A chain will celebrate its annual Cow Appreciation Day event by offering a free meal to any customer who isn’t “too chicken” to visit any of the chain’s nearly 1,400 participating restaurants fully dressed as a cow.
I'm still sad that they turned that dive that used to be at 711 Market street.. into a 7-11.
BOO!
