@ scorched Unfortunately, the muggings in Glen Park have been pretty consistent for the past few months. The local news outlets don't publish the stories, but those who subscribe to Captain O'Leary's daily emails are all too aware of the crimes that take place mainly on the stretch of Chenery between Diamond and 30th Street. Just the other day (July 3), a woman was held up at gunpoint as she was helping her children into her car. There's a community meeting in Glen Park right now. Hopefully, something productive will come from it.

pretty sure they caught the Bernal / Glen Park muggers a while back, actually. Or at least they caught two guys in an undercover sting on Cortland, who they thought were responsible.

There was a kid in our neighborhood who continued wearing grey Farah pants, Pringle sweaters and a Harrington jacket way after they'd gone out of fashion. Suffice it to say, after a brief neighborhood "intervention" he was decked-out in freshly-shoplifted Joe Bloggs and Kicker boots toutes suite.

This guy is a complete menace, and has been tormenting the neighborhood for years & years with repeated criminal activity and general nuisance/mayhem (you name it, he's done it). Let's hope they keep him in jail this time, and prevent his "friends" from squatting in the house while he's at sleep-away camp in San Mateo.
