um ok I was a jerk I guess and just went to see Wall-E at the AMC....I mean, been there done that....rock on with the gay marriage folks...but...is that so wrong? Hey awesome props to my gay and lesbian brothers and sisters, but I really just wanted to go to the movies and not be judged...wall-e was great! and I love love love that the girl robot was named EVE since the EVE I know is also cute and packs serious firepower....

I thought it was definitely a more uplifting parade compared to the last couple ... "going the the chapel" and all. Cheer SF is so amazing ... Cyndi looked a bit ill at the start of the parade - no wonder she didn't end up performing later on. Poor gal ... Did anyone else wonder why the heck Supervisor Carmen Chu didn't have a convertible ride in the parade like the rest of the elected folks? Maybe that's a penalty for being appointed? Both her and Jeff Adachi were hard to spot if you didn't know who they were. I don't know ... hopefully, she'll get officially elected to the seat in November and she'll have a class car of her own in 2009.

Posted photos aside, this was the most suburbanite, family friendly (gag) style Pride I have ever been to. Politically it made sense, I guess, but from a fun standpoint, I felt like I had been trapped in a giant parent teacher conference...So many friggin parents, and Buggaboo strollers, and rug rats...BAH.
