BART should just do what trains in Germany do. Also, why doesn't BART install overhead storage for peoples' shit who are headed to the airport? Just a thought.

I'll echo Leanne and abstain from inducting any fury. Unless the bike was blocking the doors the side on which the doors would open, and/or the owner didn't move the bike out of the way in anticipation of the doors opening, there's no reason to get all hot and bothered. There's long stretches during which "blocking" the door frees up space for everyone and is irrelevant to in/egress until the door-opening side switches. Which could be a while.

... about as infuriating as when single passengers on foot sprawl across all the seats with room for bikes. Or when they glare at you for standing too close with a bike. It'd be nice if riders, walkers and people with gigantic heaps of luggage could work out an accord and stick to it.
