Why buy sparks when you can have Juice or whatever it's called. It's bigger and a 10%+. If you are going to enjoy a crappy product that fucks up your stomach at least get your money worth

Uh-oh. I think I agree with TAYM. All these drinks were made up by some jerk in the marketing dept seeking to increase market share. What's wrong with a good local brew?

Sparks is pretty much the original caffeinated malt liquor, certainly the most popular. It's made in SF so you can find it all over the place. It's somewhat harder to find in other cities.

I wonder if the reformulation is due to the fact that the legislature decided to increase the tax on "flavored beer." A bunch of companies are up in arms about it.
