While we totally think Self-Help/How-To's are getting out of hand (Hello. We've run out of shelf space here), when we were perusing our RSS feeds -- also known as blogger crack -- we ran into this little gem from The Boston Globe, via Gawker. A picture/article on how to figure out whether you're a day-person or night-person, how long naps should take, and (wait for it..) how to take a nap. The Gawker comments are totes worth a read, by the way, if you decide to click through.
We begged our boss for a nap room (or contemplated sleeping beneath our desk) while working in the cubicle jungle, but now this is scientific proof that we are predisposed to naps in the early afternoon. Just don't tell them that you really need a nap to sleep off that nasty hangover you earned last night. You won't earn any points with that one.

seriously, an article on how to convince corporate america that scientific evidence about the human sleep cycle could be practically applied to increase productivity would be far more useful than knowing that "it helps to lie down."
as interesting as this is, only the lucky self-employed will ever get to apply it, i'm sure.
I just had a tree installed in my office so I could take a nap just like the monkey in the illustration.
