reechard, if you look on the books of local codes & ordinances, in the mid-90s one was passed that permits a person to disable a car alarm that's been going off unattended for five minutes or more "by any reasonable means possible." But what really is reasonable at 3am? Sleep walking? Waking rage syndrome? Ya just neva know.

I'm not usually one to advocate criminal behavior, but I've been tempted to crack the windshields of cars whose alarms go off continually at night, alerting everyone except the owner apparently. Also, I wouldn't think it should be a serious crime should someone break PJ's windows so as to grab the attention of the city and/or the owners of the putrid establishment in question.

I'm going to get sick. As for those bouncing paychecks, you can fight it in small claims for triple the amount (or something like that), or send it to the labor commissioner.

The smell got worse when the weather got warmer. I thought we had a health department that can go all medieval on folks who let rats (a big health hazard for all the other businesses and residents in our neighborhood) run amok all frisky after eating oysters. Class-see!
