Highway 101 Shuts Down After Big Rig Melee

800px-RoadtrainCrop.jpg

A jackknifed big rig (do they ever do anything but jackknife?) carrying tons of diesel fuel on (the) 101 has shutdown the highway in both direction in Menlo Park. The accident happened just after 10 p.m. According to the Gate, "[t]hree northbound lanes and two southbound lanes are closed near the Marsh Road interchange, snarling traffic in both direction."

So far four people have been injured. The extent of their injuries is not yet known. Also, some diesel fuel spilled out after the truck bit it. At one point, the Gate goes on to say, "a fire crew it was having trouble staunching the flow from the tank." Eeps! Stay tuned.

No "the" !!! No "the" !!! AAAHHH!!

(Chaos, riots, cars overturned, burning buildings, etc.)

He put the "the" in parentheses. Because we are pot smoking, terrorist-loving, bicycling, natural-boobied, ultraliberal, no "the" before the freeway number Northern California hippies and proud of it!
