that looks photoshopped.

it's at 4th and Townsend outside of Caltrain and there's another one outside of Walgreens on the opposite corner.

Didn't anyone notice the date? 2010 is when it's found? And, the "photoshopping" would be needed to remove ph numbers and personal info.

reeechard, if I can convincingly give someone an extra arm or boob, phone numbers easily can be removed.

profinion:

I seriously don't think this is photoshopped.

Whoa, this is like "Terminator" only with fliers and backpacks. It's blowing my mind! I fear for the spacetime continuum.

Ah, I didn't get what was up with the "2010" at first. I mean, it says "Please contact!" and then just "2010"?!?

That moves it into being moderately amusing. Otherwise it's just rather assholish.

craigs list lost and found is a great way to get back the stuff folks steal from you in coffee shops or bars. just place an ad like you lost it and want it back no questions asked. offer a reward. the thief will bite, every time. meet at a coffee shop and then confront them for stealing your shit. how uncool and unacceptable that is. then leave with it.

The hilariousness of the original flier is that there was no contact info for someone to return the backpack and receive their reward. (I guess that point gets lost if it appears the phone number was Photoshopped.)

none of it was photoshopped! you are all making the baby Jesus cry. here is the original image: http://www.flickr.com/photos/jameth/2558508453/ it was taken with my camera phone. i don't have photoshop on it :(

fie! fie! fie!

and stop hurting bratty jesus, readers. it is not p'shopped. i just saw it the other day near SFist HQ.

Lost is a stupe and forgot to put contact info on the flier. Found is making ironic commentary on foolishness of lost. Got it. Clever.

It's pretty sad when you gotta explain why something's funny.

smells like an art project...

Lost was probably in a panic and neglected to write down his phone number. It happens. But the response IS funny.

Benjamin Linus put them there in a flash forward.
