Happy National Donut Day!

krispykremesbeingmade.jpg

Today is National Donut Day, folks. Wee! Every first Friday of June, "National Doughnut Day honors the Salvation Army "Lassies" of WWI. It is also used as a fund raiser for needy causes of the Salvation Army."

Aw.

But it's not a holiday if you don't get something sweet for free, so check out the location of your nearest Krispy Kreme. (Mountain View? Bah.) They're giving away one free donut to each customer, so... have at it. Happy Donut freebies TBA.

Feh. See's gives you a free candy every day.

If used donut cooking oil can be converted into fuel for MUNI, they're good enough for me.

There's one in Daly City next to In and Out!!

Too bad there isn't a Dunkin' Donuts any closer than Sacramento!

I'd rather pay double for a Bob's donut (Polk and Sacramento) than get a Krispy Kreme for nothing.
