That's a great idea. Sales to the Maritime Academy will fund the entire fire department. I've never seen booze so cheap as when I lived there and I was limited by my fake ID.

Vallejo is dropping their name for something younger, cheaper, catchier and easier to remeber -- "VJO".

Pretty sure they officially changed their name to BevMo -- that's what my countless receipts say. So maybe it's just Beverages & More to their OG customers. Kinda like Kentucky Fried Chicken no longer exists. EVERYTHING IS GETTING FASTER AND SHORTER WELCOME TO THE FUTURE FRIEND

On the flip side, most communities aren't exactly encouraging cigarette smoking with their various bans .... despite their share of revenues from the 1999 big tobacco settlement.

Wow, when I lived there 10 years ago they didn't want the Trader Joe's to come in because another alcohol-selling establishment would just contribute to the problems. So much has changed.
