Carlos Sousa Jr.'s, Tatiana the Tiger's Autopsies Revealed

Carlos Sousa Jr.'s autopsy report has just been released to the public. According to ABC 7's Dan Noyes, the San Francisco Medical Examiner’s Office's report details the massive (and pretty graphic) injures Sousa suffered from Tatiana the tiger on Christmas Day 2007 at the San Francisco Zoo after a tiger escaped from her grotto.
The report confirms the cause of death: “Blunt force injuries of the head and neck (predatory cat bite(s)).” The evidence of the mauling is devastating – Sousa suffered many punctures and scratches to his head, neck and chest. The tiger fractured his skull and spine, and cut his jugular vein.
Sousa's blood also tested positive for both booze and marijuana. But you knew that already. Also, the report also goes into detail about how Tatiana's body is being kept: in baggies inside of a freezer for research. It seems she met her maker after a bullet entered her through the forehead. Alas.

Somehow I made it though highschool, drinking and smoking weed, and right by the SF zoo, without getting mauled by a tiger.
I'm afraid the Zoo/City/whomever is still on the hook because of the fence height being 4 feet lower than folks perceived for 50 years or whatever. Oy.
On to snarky comments, will the TSA folks start checking people and making us throw away our drinks if we want to enter the Zoo going forward? hmmm...
Cop got a bullet through her forehead with (presumably) a handgun. Not a bad shot.
I was thinking the same thing! Hell of a marksman.
Recently I was reading an article about tigers and their behavior in the various reserves in asia. The text very clearly pointed out that tigers, for reasons unknown, are well known to have very short tempers, often attacking and/or killing, inebriated humans.
Hold that tiger!
Where's that tiger?
Thank you, Generic, and Les Paul and Mary Ford.
Tyger! Tyger! Burning bright,
In the forests of the night,
What immortal hand or eye
Could frame thy fearful symmetry?
In what distant deeps or skies
Burnt the fire of thine eyes?
On what wings dare he aspire?
What the hand dare seize the fire?
-- William Blake
It's the eye of the tiger, it's the cream of the fight
Risin' up to the challenge of our rival
And the last known survivor stalks his prey in the night
And he's watchin' us all in the eye of the tiger
Ever hear of the Darwin Awards??? Sounds like this kid was such a stupid ass that the world will undoubtedly be better without him. I can't say the same thing about the Tatiana however.
I wonder how many zoo patrons have had a toke and a shot or two before going to the zoo on any given day, much less Christmas Eve.
