When ordering an after-dinner tea at Slanted Door, you'll be asked, "Smokey or floral?" This is what you get with "floral." Isn't it loverly?

It's beautiful! I couldn't possibly drink it...

Before I saw the description, I thought that was the cutest (and smallest) aquarium I've ever seen.

does anyone have any rolling papers?

and a hair-dryer?

How do you drink it? Through a handkerchief?

I don't like getting punched in the teeth by a tea anemone regardless of its beauty.

They sell these at tea shops. It's really lovely to watch the flower unfold.

Contrary to this photo... it's best to put the flower in the tea pot and then pour the tea into a cup so you don't have to deal with what icbalaam said: "Getting punched in the teeth by a tea anenome."

It's jasmine tea. It a big ball tied together and as it steeps it unfolds. It's pretty cool, but leaving in a cup that way would allow it to steep for way too long unless you guzzle it quickly.

also: "tea anemone" ha.

Ew.

What's so good about swamp water?

What does smoky look like? How much does it cost?

Flowering teas have reached infomercials and Parade magazine by now. Where have you people been?
