Where Have All the Black Anchors Gone?: Barbara Rodgers Calls It Quits
While Dennis Richmond's farewell received much more attention, very little has been said about CBS 5's Barbara Rodgers is leaving CBS 5. Why? We're not exactly sure yet. But her final broadcast happens this Friday, and they're giving her goodbye a Richmond-esque promotion (though not quite as grand in scale).
We liked Rodgers. Especially her bold move to go grey this past year. (Not pictured at left.) Anyway, we'll miss you, Barbara.

It sounds like she's just going to retire. She's been a staple here for a long time.
Unfortunately, we all know that KPIX is cutting back on its staff by laying off people like Rick Quan.
Maybe KPIX can save some damn money by simply taking off their 10PM news program and putting Family Guy back on the air back-to-back. You just can't compete against KTVU.
I stopped watching KPIX news after Ken Bastida shaved off his mustache.
Anyone remember Dave McElhatton?
I still miss Leslie from KTVU...where did she go?
Is Dennis Richmond leaving to go find her?
I hope so...I miss her extreme oddness.
Word has it that Leslie lost her job after one of her big assignments for KTVU went down the toilet and it was because her supervisors hated it as it was to uncover something big, but they didn't want to get on-air.
