We've seen this poster, and variations thereof, scattered about the city as of late. We're not sure what we think of them.

+ What do YOU think?

(That would've been a good ironic clincher...)

I think that someone is a little too proud of the grade-inflated A they got at AISF.

SF GENERAL'S WARNING: Conformity is evil. All who do not agree with this must be punished!

also, borders breed creativity.

I've seen tons of these in the vicinity of the Academy of Universities of Art Institutes College, so that has probably colored my judgment on the matter.

Are young artist types still ranting about conformity? Kind of makes me wistful for those days, when boredom was the worst thing kids could think of. Time for Ol' Man Evans to spin some old timey Bad Religion albums....

Yeah see, the Surgeon General's an officer of the US Public Health Service. His job is, literally, to encourage compliance, uniformity, the mitigation of risk. He's the very antithesis of nonconformity.

Methinks the Artist General is a little too cute by half. I don't think he gets it.

maybe truth.com is behind it all?

Non-conformity is the new conformity. Just like in SF ugly is the new cool.

Everyone knows conformity is a gateway drug.

I lost my me to non-conformity.
