Well if we're going to be requesting German food, how about some Wurstsalat?

I've eaten at this burrito place in Berlin. To be honest, it is OK, but doesn't compare to Mission burritos. Nonetheless, in a city that is pretty much void of Mexican food, it is a nice improvement.

Yeah, I really wish they had German style Döner Kebabs in San Francisco. But instead all I can find are the traditional Döner plates and Döner wraps...ugh... I want Pita Bread! not a wrap!

yes, bring on the doner kebabs! Also currywurst. mmmm.

There are fairly authentic Philly cheesesteaks on Divisadero between Sutter and Bush (IIRC), east side. But if you're in that area you should really be eating at Frankie's Bohemian Cafe instead.

That's a lot of money to pay some snot nosed undergrad. No wonder I can barely afford a fucking apartment in this fishing village.

tony_flow, those look delicious. that would be nice.

also, are there real philly cheesesteaks available in SF? anywhere? not the gross fake ones with real cheese, lettuce and tomatoes, but the ones with regulation steak 'ems and yellow cheese sauce?

Mission style burritos available in Berlin?

OK, now how about berlin style donér kebabs in SF??

they are the bees knees. forget every late night snack food: pizza, mexican, etc. It's all about the donér kebab!
