Father of Two Killed In Bayview-Hunters Point

Although known around his hood for being a neighborhood peacekeeper, 34-year-old Andre Daniels took two bullets to the head and died on Tuesday in what SFPD are calling "an execution-style killing."

Happening just before 9 a.m. at the Alice Griffith housing project, the Gate tells us that "neighbors reported hearing five or six shots," but that no one has admitted to witnessing the killing. Or rather, no one will come forward. As of now, no arrests have been made and no description of the suspect(s) is available.

This most recent killing makes it the 43rd for San Francisco this year compared to 38 at this same time last year in 2007.

And the supervisors worry about foie gras and plastic bags.

Bless you Andre, and your poor family. And David and Samuel too.

Am I the only person thinking that a killing at Alice Griffith is going to be used by Lennar to try and push their bullshit Prop G even more?
