Last night at 10:15 there was an old naked guy painted in gold still walking around town. I have no idea if he had done B2B earlier or if that was his normal attire for a Sunday stroll. I didn't want to ask. His penis scared me.

@ Angrybat I am aware of the distinction and of the connotation. That's why I specifically chose the words "dangerously close". The comment was right up to the line, without crossing it. To single out one woman (in the context of that photo) as a "publicity whore" in what's literally a parade of exhibitionists, raises my eyebrow. And not in a good way.

@orangedrink - you're right! Looks like the Autodesk guys finished right behind them at 38:42. I guess their outfits really stood out in the crowd. The ASICS guys must have been wearing cammo or something. I was up on a scissorlift at the finish line looking for first aid worthy runners. As far as I know, no serious medical problems this year.

Either way - "whore" or "attention whore", it's just a way to belittle someone who is having a little harmless fun in a way that the prudes wouldn't approve of.

It was chilly. There was ... shrinkage. This must have been near the start. I didn't see the naked ones in the picture cross the finish but I did notice the Autodesk centipede - they were the first centipede to cross and finished in something like 45 or 50 minutes. Very impressive.

Most of the nudity seemed to be from the 50+ age set ... My theory is that if you don't have to worry about a future job interview because you're already retired, you're a lot more apt to take part in the birthday suit parade and could care less who takes photos, etc..
