  • FILM: '80s noir flick Body Heat--featuring Kathleen Turner, William Hurt, and a pane of glass standing between the two--screens at the Castro tonight. Rumor is it's "scorching."

    7 p.m. // Castro Theatre (Castro & Market) // $6-$9

  • READING: Oooooh, James Frey the LIAR is over at Slim's tonight. (Come on, regardless of the fibs and Oprah-gate, A Million Little Pieces was a fun read. It was. Let's all move on, yes? Yes.) Catch the bear reading from his latest novel, Bright Shiny Morning, over in SOMA tonight. 3rdrail provides the music.

    7 p.m. // Slim's (333 - 11th Street) // free

  • MUSIC: The latest trend in music, Robyn, performs in North Beach. Her hair is exceptionally angular. (Johnny Ray Houston can tell you more.) Check her and her do out.

    9 p.m. // Bimbo's 365 Club (1025 Columbus) // $20

I am NOT moving on. I am staying right here.
