Breaking: Bomb Threat Reported On South Van Ness

bomb%20exploding.jpg

Oh my God, we might all blow to bits. Well, some of you in the Mission might, that is. According to Curbed:

The bomb squad's on the scene at Van Ness Avenue, between 22th and 24th streets. There has been a bomb threat (obviously) and initial reports suggest that it may have been levied at the school. The surrounding nabe has been placed on lock down...

Exciting! Let's hope it's just a bored high schooler suffering from senioritis, and not the real deal. (You know: ka-blam.) Fingers crossed.

Update: All is clear. No bomb found, no more mess on Van Ness, no limbs blown to bits. Yay! And: snooze.

Prolly had a test to take that he was underprepared for... this is a surefire method of gaining valuable extra study hours.

i never made it through a finals week at cal without at least one bomb threat. it was awesome if you weren't prepared, annoying if you were.
