Jazz At Pearl's: NOT Closing

When we last reported on the fate of North Beach's Jazz at Pearl's, blues chanteuse Kim Nally's bee-bop joint, it was shuttering its doors. for good. Again.

Now, according to Tablehopper, whose words we live by, Jazz at Pearl's is staying open. Again. Why? Due to a hefty divorce settlement on Ms. Nally's end, or something like that.

We're tickled to hear that this cabaret style joint is staying open. Maybe we'll actually check it out now. That said: Ms. Nally, are you screwing with us? The places opens and closes for good as many times as...well, as Jazz at Pearl's.

According to Kim, some new investors have stepped up and once the deal is finalized, their names will be revealed.

I can't imagine divorcing Kim Nally. She is funny, smart, talented, and absolutely drop-dead gorgeous.
