A charcuterie plate? Really? It's top chef, not top assembler of cured meats that you didn't cure yourself.

Nikki, too. I make that dish every weekend.

Not that anyone here cares.

One of the other Bears was Gale Sayers - the focus of the 70's movie "Brian's Song". I am sure Ryan watched that and cried. Considered one of the greatest running backs of all time.

The other Bear was Richard Dent. Although the Fridge was funny, Richard Dent was the real deal on the much acclaimed '85 Bears defense. In fact, he was the MVP of Super Bowl XX (thanks Wikipedia for that last tidbit).

Guess Ryan would have been better off buying some rotisseries chickens and stuffing them between some bread.

Yes, he would have.

That's the point.

If you seriously think serving crème fraîche at a tailgating party is a better choice than sausage of nearly any quality then you're hopelessly out of touch with the whole idea of what makes a Top Chef, and for that matter, American food.

Presumably, a Top Chef can wrap his brain around why we have barbecues (instead of white linen tablecloths) in the parking lots of football games. Dale made ribs with tandoori flavor, but they were still ribs.

This was at freaking Bears game, for christ sakes. Food for the masses. Football. Concession stands. Comfort food. Not a tough challenge by any means.

I was glad when they canned the douchebag.

I don't know, Nikki's been really bad for a really long time. Not actually making the food you're serving is unforgivable.

Well, while I think Mark had the biggest offense (tasting the spoon and using it to scoop the chowder) Ryan had this coming for a long time. He's been bad almost every week.
