New Wave Chinese art is hot in the market, and has been for awhile. This particular piece is pretty lame- poorly executed [see background buildings,little girl about to jump etc] At least it looks like they're having a fun stick-it-in job.

so... wait does this symbolize the two countries being in love? Or is this insulting to America because she's getting rogered? 'cause, you know, uh, that's how hetero sex, uh works. Boys go in girls and that's ok. I just don't understand international coitus anymore.

That Shanghaiist picture is amazingly provocative and I'm surprised it didn't generate more comments. Maybe that particular -ist is off the radar of the highly nationalistic types?

I'm confused, why aren't we all lining up at the Consulate to protest this piece of artwork? Why aren't we demanding the Chinese censor this horrific image? Why aren't we burning things and overturning cars and rioting, because someone made an image that might make some people cry? Cause, you know, that's what other people do....
