Nothing Says "Guilt" Like "Earth Day"
Since you've already figured out your plans for tomorrow night, what about during the day? It is Earth Day tomorrow and everyone is displacing their guilt celebrating by participating in cleanups and events around the bay. Upcoming and Going listed some of the Earth Day events and we're helpfully listing them here in hopes that we'll encourage you to get off your couch and do something useful.
Cleanup Events:
- Earth Day on the Bay 2008, Marine Science Institute
- John Muir Earth Day Festival, Home of John Muir
- Berkeley Earth Day, Berkeley Civic Center Park
The Gate has the complete list of Earth Day events here.
Forget about the fact that you bought an SUV and love it; go celebrate the earth and attend a clean-up or festival. Just remember: you don't have to join the hippie drum circle and sing "Kumbaya" if you don't want to.

Also check out a volunteer event at the Visitacion Valley Greenway on Sunday April 27 - www.tpl.org/bananarepublic to RSVP.
Next up, the Chevron Richmond Refinery Earth Day Celebration.
Since so many SF surfers actually surf Linda Mar (and other north San Mateo County breaks), here's the info for the Pacific a Beach Coalition's Earth Day activities.
The San Mateo County chapter of Surfrider will be cleaning up Poplar Beach in Half Moon Bay from 9:30am to 11:30am.
Ok, seriously? I dig the earth. I work for environmental companies, but why do all four of the events have to start at 9am and go until 1?
I'm not getting up before noon tomorrow. Sorry Earth.
Hey at least I use ' organic' paintballs, oh wait I didn't check them first.... my bad.
OMG ! Bustedtees...... I have just recently written down a few ideas over weeks along those lines......who knows, maybe
not giving up my ideas without
just cause I saw the advertisment and know I wrote them down while drunk and stoned !
maybe, maybe
I'll have to pass over tomorrow because it's Passover. Haha. Lame joke.
