Hot Stuff Food Blog Round Up

Our latest fave blog is Greg's World on a Plate. He's a Marin based chef who has great pics and interesting write ups.

In other local food news, Bunrab braved the Chocolate Salon, which is massively popular (read: very, very crowded). Exotic (tea, lemongrass, chile, etc.) flavors and chocolate samples abound. Organizers promise a bigger space and perhaps returning to two rather than one day for next year's sexy fest.

Hot wok time! Try some Ma Po Tofu, with a recipe courtesy of Blog Appetit, after a recent trip to China. Seriously yummy.

Saucy pic of asparagus with egg over at Food and the City. Cod cheeks and house made ricotta make Laiola an intriguing find, even if it is in the Marina ("not my favorite place" sez FATC's Kathy). Try a nice looooong write up of Little Star Pizza from the Gourmet Chronicles. Warning, it takes til the end the fourth paragraph to get to the actual restaurant.... Taste Tests has a shorter Little Star post to consider if you really want to get your pizza pie on. Cardoon time at The Ladybug Letter.
