I echo OrangeDrink's sentiments. I hate to hear this story. She sounds like she was a responsible kid, so it's unlikely she just decided to wander off.

I know this is off the topic, but I'm proud to see the Chron reporting on someone missing who isn't another rich white girl who is missing. Minorities are kidnapped/lost too. Best of luck to her and her fam.
