*SO* not surprised by Tao. I've been there once. Sure, it's excellent, brilliant really. But paying that much for sushi is just silly. Apparently there were many of us sillies last year.

I like Blvd and Slanted Door, but these rankings are easily explained as overpriced tourist traps and expense account fodder.

What is the profit margin on this $11-16 million, I wonder? Anyone in the restaurant biz who would hazard a guess?
