Growing up in a logging community this kind of thing was pretty common. They called falling redwood branches "Widow Makers" for obvious reasons.

So sad. But at least her last day was in a pretty park, in nice weather, getting exercise with her pet. If it's your time to take a bow, that's not a bad way to do it.

I saw this happen to a girl on campus of my wooded university. Luckily, she was only sent out in an ambulance and was mostly ok. Be careful, kiddos.

That's just tragic. You walk out the door and take your dog for a walk in the park then a fucking tree falls down and kills you. Be kind people. You never know when a meteor somewhere in outer space has your number.
