SFist: Wednesday Shooting on 280 from Road Rage

This story is sad. I feel real bad for that family. My father is a road-rager. Once, this guy in a porsche cut him off when he was driving my mom and me back from a shopping trip. He chased the guy for a couple blocks before the guy drove into a parking lot. By the time my dad caught up the other driver had parked his car and was sitting in the passenger's seat waiting with the door open and his hand in his glove box. No doubt he had a firearm. My father, a street fighter, approached with his hands out showing he wasn't carrying a weapon. The other driver got out from his car without the gun. They both exchanged heated words. Before we all knew it they were in a full blown fight. Blood was everywhere. The cops came. It was a major scene. Neither my father or the other driver wanted to press charges. A year later the same porsche driver was arrested after an incident of road rage. Only that time he had taken the gun out of his glove box and killed the driver and passenger who had followed him.

Damn...we order from the company he worked for, I'm pretty sure this was our regular delivery guy. :(

I'm not sure how I feel about a reporter shoving her camera/microphone in a small child's face and asking him to recount the details of his father's death. Seems a little slimy to me. although the kid seemed remarkably calm about the whole thing.

I saw that interview this morning on the Ch2 news. He's a very articulate little boy. My sympathies to him and the rest of his family.
