Next time, they should merge this event with the weekly Hash House Harriers run, the monthly Critical Mass ride, and the occasional Pillow Fight. Fire, protestors, booze, costumes, motor vehicles, bicycles, and goosedown weaponry!

The SFTORCH text updates said that a torch bearer at Van Ness and Chestnut pulled out a Tibetan flag and had their torch taken away. Can anyone confirm or deny this? I haven't heard that anywhere else.
