San Francisco Chronicle: Have a spring (food) fling! Macerated, boozy strawberries with meringue sounds easy and intriguing. The butter braised carrots, peas & favas are appealing, too. Passover prepared nibbles are available at many locations. Palmetto Restaurant on Union Street couldn't even make it for one year, and is closing due to "a perfect storm of events."
