Dale Chihuly's neon Saffron Tower at the de Young Museum.
pretty brave to put that outside, no?
i've seen a chihuly exhibit before, and i thought it was fantastic. i recommend this one.
my girl (an artist) was unimpressed, however.

that photo kinda turns me on...
Mustard on my sandcrawler!
Oooh.
Chihuly again?
I worked on a 3d animation for this one in Indianapolis - http://www.chihuly.com/installations/childrens/Art/05184in1_n1_B.jpg
and was initially cleared by Chihuly himself, and once he saw it - he changed his mind... 4 months of work later.
