You know, I expect a little assholitude from sports car drivers, after all they're driving vehicles that are marketed to be driven at high speeds. But a majority of Prius owners I've had experiences with seem to be assholes for the sake of being assholes. We all know Prius owners have a reputation for being smug and from what I've seen it's a rep that's well earned. Their hybrid vehicle some how allows them to do as they please on the road, whether it's driving 60 in the fast lane, not using turn signals, or driving quietly past pedestrians who are in a crosswalk and have the right of way.

Even in Wyoming: Last summer the park rangers at Yellowstone NP were all driving an official goverment Prius.

BMW drivers *are* worse, but at least they aren't preening self-righteously as they run you down. They're jerks and they are proud of it. No one expects better from a BMW driver.

I didn't know it was legal to buy or sell a hybrid in Spokane. Anyway, Volvo, Saab and BMW drivers are worse.

As a fellow hybrid owner (not a Prius, thankyouverymuch), I love seeing Prius drivers get screwed. They are just awful. They all fall into one of two categories: (1) the grannies who drive exactly 60 mph in the fast/carpool lane, and (2) the yuppie assholes who drive like everyone in downtown L.A. I swear, I have been cut off and flipped off by more Priuses (Priuii?) than by any other car type. I'm all for vehicles with energy conservation. I'm not for fucktard driving. Screw 'em.

i'm with scopa. it's a prius. are they exempt from traffic and/or parking tickets? and yes, i get the implication that because one drives a prius, one is assumed to be a 'good' person, and perhaps would therefore avoid being ticketed. that said, this picture counters that conclusion. totally clever dude!

If you're a Prius driver, take a very close look at this picture. Do you see that orangy glass thing next to the headlight? That's what we call a turn signal. In fashionable circles it's cutomary to use this when changing directions. This change in direction can be a lane change, a turn onto another street (right or left) or a pull-out from a stationary position. The purpose of all this is to inform other road users of your intentions, so they can prepare to take the appropriate action and avoid hitting you. It's important because other drivers are not fucking telepathic and have no idea what the fuck you are going to do next. You are not saving energy by not using these "turn signals". So fucking use them fucktards, and quit driving around the city at 15mph.
