Back in '96 when I was working at FAO Schwarz, we had a 10 am Saturday morning reading for kids to come and hear Herb Caen read from a children's book he'd just written. He showed up absolutely plastered and smelling like he'd just worked a 8-day-long barback shift. For a children's book reading at 10am on a Saturday morning. Also... if the yogurt was not prepared by a Survivor contestant, I am not interested.
