Wow.

Our inbox is flooded this morning with fantastical news items and scoops. Although hard to choose, this one, which you can also find over at SFZoo, is the most annoying so far:

We regret to announce our male Gorilla recently escaped his enclosure and we are not sure where he is right now.

Clever. But if it finished with, "A five-year-old girl and her three-year-old brother were mauled to death," then it might have tickled us ever so. Alas.

Oh, and the Snitch has a list of some San Francisco pranks. (No one dangles VW Bugs off of the Golden Gate Bridge anymore. Sob.)
