Actually my friend took the picture, we were driving on brotherhood last saturday and we saw this on the side of the road. We just had to stop and take a picture. We asked to take the picture and at first this man and I'm assuming, his wife, were hesitant but we had to get the picture so I made a little lie saying it was for a project I was doing on hybrid vehicles. Of course like all good SF citizens we made sure they didn't need any help before we left.
exhausticated: it would seem they could've used some help actually getting the petrol from the container INTO the tank.

The Prius can't run out of gas, can it? It's electric!
The electric only range on a fully charged Prius is only a few miles.
In a Prius, the combustible engine operates as a generator to recharge the electric battery. If the engine is out of gas, then the electric battery goes kaput, too.
I just wanna pinch his cheeks.

is it me or are prius drivers the worst ones on the road?
@suckafree-- they're almost the worst ones on the roads. Personally I think most drivers who use the car sharing programs are the worst (due to slow reflexes or forgetting the rules of the road because they aren't driving everyday). But if it's a car sharing driver of a Prius-- fear for your life!
