Radiohead tickets are now on sale. For a three-day pass to San Francisco's "Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival," which is sure to be the music event of 2008. (That is, next to Christine Ebersol's appearance at the Marines Memorial Club earlier this month, which, sadly, no one told SFist about in advance. So we missed it. Sniff.)
Anyway, tickets to the three-day concert cost a cool $233.25. Head over here to snatch them up.
(An aside: Overhead at a bar this weekend, someone labeled Radiohead "fratboy music." Eeps! Is this true? Is there a disproportionate amount of men within the college Greek system appropriating hipsters' and sensitive guys' favorite sound?)

The fratboys have taken quite a liking to Built to Spill these days, and the hippies seem to have taken over Ween...
Total Ticket Cost $ 233.25

I got mine, best get yours. Single day tickets go on sale later this year.
according to their website:
"Pending availability single day tickets may be released at a later date."
i don't want to spend that much money on the three day pack. i just want to see radiohead...
I'll wait for the daily lineups to be announced. The artist list is not blowing me away at all right now. Sure, it would be cool to see Radiohead, and Wilco's usually good, but not much else on there I'd get too excited about.
Also, why does Jack Johnson suddenly seem to be headlining every festival? Is he really that big? He's doing an amazing job of keeping a low profile for someone who headlines things like this and Coachella.
Jack Johnson's latest album debuted at #1 on the charts. Given the amount of crap out there, that's pretty impressive. He sells a lot of tickets and he puts on a good show.
I have to disagree with your assessment of the lineup - and I could give a rat's ass about Radiohead, really, I understand that is an unusual position so I'll cede the point.
In addition to Radiohead/Jack Johnson...
Tom Petty, Beck, Wilco, Widespread Panic, Ben Harper, STEVE WINWOOD fer crissakes, are huge acts whether you are into them personally (How can you not be into Beck - Scientologist or not that man has chops).
From the lesser known on the list, the following must be highly recommended by yours truly - ALO, Donovan Frankenreiter (Jack Johnson Jr), Drive-By Truckers, Steel Pulse. With Johnson and Frankenreiter on the bill I suspect G Love will end up on the bill as well.
This is going to be HUGE.
Manu Chao will be there too. And Rodrigo y Gabriela.
Bon Iver is a nice addition to the list.
Radiohead was everyone's music when I was in college. Kid A could be heard from SUVs with ski racks on top in hot weather to hipster bikes with a boombox strapped to the rack.
I'll just wait until the 30th, when tickets go on sale on outsidelandsfest.com
