A Moment From Yesterday's Peace Vigil

Oops.

Did a blogger put this thing together? Looks like it.

Anyway, local celebrity Cindy Sheehan headlined yesterday's peace vigil at the Unitarian Universalist Church on Geary Street. Vice presidential candidate Matt Gonzalez, brother-can-you-spare-a-dime Carole Migden, Justin Raimondo, CODEPINK gals, and a few others all showed up to get their views on the war, face time for the cameras.

Update: SF Bay Guardian has info on the protests happening throughout the day in the Bay Area. Check them out, won't you?

zombietime has boring, bad politics. isn't there another local site sfist could link to for photos? at least one to even things out a bit?

"to" many. Typical. Can one of you protesters stop in Tommy's Joynt and pick up a plate of buffalo stew for me? Thanks.

mac9: by all means, send me one.

also, the image was taken from zombietime, hence the link.

At least they didn't spell "years" as "year's."

You all got it wrong... I think it was supposed to read "5 years to Manny"

pepelicious- They must Red Sox fans.

08 is the last season of his current contract...maybe some sf fans hopeful for a 5 yr offer to ramirez?

You are all wrong, it's "5 Years Tom Any".

This morning I saw someone waving a rainbow flag with the letters "PACE" on it. Is that an acronym for something? Is he a Pace University alumnus? Or does he really want to give pace a chance?

Awesome. Thanks, BeejW. That's one point back in the protesters' favor. (Approximately 3,146 points against, though.)
