Southwest Flights Resume

Southwest Airlines, the cattle-car service of affordable air transportation, resumed flights this morning after yesterday's maintenance SNAFU grounded "approximately 4 percent" on Tuesday night. It seems that many of their airplanes failed to have safety checks last year, which resulted in yesterday's Southwest Airlines schedule meltdown and a drop in their stock price. But today, Thursday, "the majority of the planes removed from service have been returned" spokeswoman Christi Day tells CBS 5.

Yesterday's aircraft removals caused widespread cancellations and delays at airports across the country.

Flights at Oakland Airport have all resumed, but according to CBS 5, "San Francisco International Airport's duty manager was unable to provide specifics regarding flight cancellations."

They couldn't get the orange-clad 70's stewardess drag posse to stop partying on the steps up the plane. This always happens right before Trannyshack Reno.

How does one fix a cracked airplane? Crazy glue?

This is scary stuff, considering they knew they had a prob, ignored it, and so did the FAA inspector.

I already hate to fly so I'm adding an extra oxy to my cocktail next time.
