BLŪ In Review

blu.jpg
As most of you know, we here at SFist are staunch vertical-growth advocates. In addition to One Rincon Hill being visible from SFist headquarters, we have also had the pleasure of watching the mushroom tip of BLŪ sprout above SOMA/Rincon Hill overt the last few months. While unsure of whether or not it was the next St. Regis or SOMA Grand, we've been dying for some time to sneak a peak at its insides.

The wait is over.

Curbed has some gorgeous shots of the new apartment building recently erected on Folsom and Second Streets. Take, for example, the bathroom above in Penthouse Unit A at BLŪ, which comes complete with marble furnishings. Isn't it divine? And divinely exotic? While many well-funded hipsters would cringe at the thought of, um, dropping the kids off in such an inviting space -- you know, the kinds of kids who live with roommates for a communal experience, not out of economic necessity? -- we would displace an entire continent of people to live here. It looks super nice, is what we're saying. Anyway, check out Curbed for more apartment shots and details on when you can start throwing money at them.

Yay for free advertising!

I always said nothing could pry me out of North Beach. I think I found the limits of my NB love.

Lovely...and how much is that setting a person back per month?

Probably more than I MAKE in a month! LOL
