yeah, that seems like a great idea for an increasingly overweight country: let's try to get people to NOT exercise! let's try to force everyone to go back inside their houses alone, off of your public sidewalks and onto their couches stuffing their faces. yay america!

Hmmmm. I wonder if anythng can be done from this angle: they are using a public space to conduct business, right? Don't they need a permit to do that? @ Dan: gotta love old ladies.

if we all live in Pot Hill, lets grab some tall boys and posse up. we can take of this situation real quick-like. i have some old pumpkins on my porch that we could roll down the hill from about 20th.

@suckafree: Seriously. This has started up in earnest in my neighborhood. Fortunately we have an overabundance of cranky old ladies who don't seem to have a problem shaming/swatting them out of the way. But yeah, it's annoying.

@suckafree: motor oil or molasses should do the trick. If they don't want to deal with it they'll just have to move elsewhere. If they want to continue to be pests at least you'll get a clean sidewalk out of it.

dammit i hate that store and all that it stands for. that said, i think i can speak for the entire North-East Slope when i declare that we wish to no longer be associated with anything west of De Haro.

They must live on the South Slope, where all the hippys and loon-a-tics live. North Slope folks dont get down like that. Our sport consists of heavy wine drinking and chain smoking cigs. And blogging.

brings up an interesting debate. these trainers seem to think they can take over entire public walkways and promenades sometimes. i find that quite insulting to the rest of us that just want to walk by. where do they get off thinking they can just take ownership of a public area for an hour every night? pretty lame!
