Gaylord of the Dance: an AIDS Lifecycle Fundraiser

Gaylord of the Dance - Teaser from Scott Saraceno on Vimeo.

For better or for worse, spring is in the air. And with that comes the many AIDS Lifecycle Fundraisers that will litter the city for the next few months or so. While AIDS charities aren't necessarily our bag -- they come off as a tad too insufferably A-gay for us or for anyone who makes less than a six-figure income -- this one will surely make the gays squeal for a while.

Since most of us cannot or will not make the painstaking bike ride from SF to LA, we can always throw some cash their way, right?. Take, for example, Scott Saraceno's fundraiser, which happens on Saturday, March 15th at the Stud. It's sure to be a blast, and you'll feel great knowing that that Sunday morning hangover was all in effort to help a worthy cause. Yay, you and your drunk-ass self!

It is funny to look at the video with no sound, (at work,) I can only magine what they are saying. Very creative though.

WTF is this sh*t??

While the governator and the feds cut billions from healthcare this year, including many of The City's hiv/aids service orgs. some of which will go bust or nearly, it behooves us to support our community, Brock, whether or not AIDS charities are your bag.
Sometimes the snarky journalism style, e.g. "AIDS Lifecycle fundraisers that will litter the city", makes me feel ill.

well, we can't have it all now, can we.

Andrew if you just used the fucking gym membership I'm paying for you wouldn't have to be the fat one.

;-)

Yay!

Yeah. The AIDS Lifecycle fundraisers I have been to have been quite hoity-toity. Although my current state of preggers might keep me from attending any event at The Stud, it's nice to know there are a wide range of giving opportunities.
