lol peoples "understanding" of graffiti on these sort of forums is hilarious...."indecipherable scribble" if you spent half the time you do griping about "those damn kids" and actually tried to understand the leter structure, connections and style that is the san francisco bus flow then maybe youd see the beauty in graffiti....

Except for the stencil and marker, that outfit describes pretty much every single kid (male AND female) at my son's SF high school (seriously, they ALL look alike!) It's freaking hoodie heaven.

I find that most taggers I encounter in SF are a mix of middle to upper-middle class kids. Kids up here don't really wear hoodies, they mostly wear North Face jackets/backpacks and only wear bandannas when doing large pieces. Most of these kids brandish themselves on flickr or on a variety of forums.

Look, Santa Ana isn't like Newport Beach or Irvine or whatever. It's an overwhelmingly Hispanic city, and its residents tend to be middle-class or poor. It's the kind of place that gets tagged up a lot, and doesn't have the kind of city services to quickly remove graffiti. /rant

Looks about right. I see that faceless kid tagging up the muni bus every day. BTW, an indecipherable scribble -- which the muni taggers seem to be in love with -- is certainly not art. And that's especially true when it's done on the side of my car. JAX$, I WILL GET YOU!!!
