Self-serving? I live in a shoebox under the Bay bridge. A lot of the folks who will be moving into these towers are retired baby boomers - rich? maybe just folks who saved their pennies instead of pissing them away on meaningless stuff.

Anyway ... the streets feel pretty safe to me in Rincon Hill ... the homeless that congregate around here are pretty docile, probably because we don't have liquor stores to supply them with trouble.

Penis tower number 2 is under construction.

Maybe it will block some views from number 1 when it's done. Tee hee hee.

BTW it will be another ugly rectangular box. The designers showed great creativity this time, because it's black, not white!

I am quite familiar with San Francisco geography and geology self serving mouthpiece for RinconHillSF. Dear.

I would think that somebody spending millions of dollars and living in the tower that will swing ferociously during the next decent earthquake will care where it is built and what it is built on. But that's just little responsible me.

Care to explain how those nouveau riche will protect themselves against the criminals that will circle ONE RINCON HILL nightly and prey upon spoiled careless rich folks? Nah, didn't think so.

Folks started moving in the week of Valentine's Day.

Robin dear, you have to go northeast to hit the abandoned ships from the goldminers in the 1800s.. The Infinity. One Rincon Hill sits on what was one of San Francisco's original hills before the Second Street Cut and then the Bay Bridge took that hill down by 100 feet .... moving the dirt to create Mission Bay and the FiDi. Kinda like Adam's rib to create Eden, I guess ..... Anyway, no ships in the bedrock. THe Infinity may have a different story ... but its so cool, who cares if its sitting on top of abandoned boats along with much of the other FiDi buildings near the ferry building.

So, did the builder dig up all the rotted, buried ships from the 1800's to secure that big boy to the earth's crust or just B.S. a bunch of super wealthy yet geologically unsavvy peeps into buying super cool pricey digs? (you would have to be "lucky" to have made any money off Snapfish - wtf?) I hate to sound mean but I cannot wait to see the YouTube video of "Lucky" flying off that swingin' tower patio during the next 7.0

p.s.
I'll also put money on it that "Lucky" is a Pug or a Bichon.

In this market do you think any SF building would ban pets? Pets are more important than anything here.

You mean people are actually going to live in that building? I thought they built it specifically for flipping.
