Hate to spread rumors but I heard Bobby's drug addict son was squatting in the place after it shut down, then sold the owl fixtures for extra cash. But I certainly used to love that place. So glad to hear there's a redux coming!

there was some odd drama when the owl tree made a brief resurgence after bobby died but I was never clear exactly what was going on. I used to recommend the Owl Tree as part of "Disneyland Bars" tour that included a few other places in the 'hood. IT was a fun place to go back in the day.
