Sunday's Protest Against Kosovo's Independence

A small but vocal amount of the local Serbian community held a minor protest about the United States' recognition of Kosovo as a separate state, going up Market Street on Sunday afternoon; the republic declared itself to be independent earlier this month. According to Associated Press, Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica says the U.S. should "annul their recognition of Kosovo." AP goes on to say:
Serbia's prime minister wants the United States to renounce its recognition of Kosovo's independence. Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica says this would restore stability in the Balkans. His remarks appear in Belgrade newspapers Monday.

They just want an independent entry into the pre-qualifying round of the Champions League. Where they'll play the champions of Lithuania, Finland, Ireland, Wales and other third-string European footballing nations. I for one think this has got "Operation Kiss Sep Blatter's Ass" written all over it.
Actually, it is so they get to have their own entry in the Eurovision Song Contest.
